>From Afghanistan - Kabul 1. 5, 000 tarpaulin, 1,500 baby kits, 500 safe delivery kits and approximately 7,200 clothing items were dispatched from Kabul to the Habitat office in Bamiyan on 10 December. The tarpaulin will benefit 2,500 IDP families in Western Bamiyan and the other items target approximately 9,000 IDP and returnee families in Bamiyan. 2. 12,000 clothing items, 500 family kits, 2,500 pairs of shoes, 9,000 pieces of children clothing and 100 boxes of blankets were dispatched from Kabul to Panjao through the OXFAM office on 6 Dec. The aid will benefit 9,000 children, 3,000 women and 500 families in Hazarajat, distributed through OXFAM- supported winter schools. Consignment includes in-kind donations from German NGO Aktion Kleine Prinz. 3. 4,600 clothing items, 14,000 pairs of boots and 500 family kits were dispatched from Kabul to Gulbahar through IAM for the ACTED warehouse. The items will benefit 3,744 IDP families in Panjshir, including approximately 12,000 children. - Kandahar 1,592/25 kgs. bags of UNIMIX, 8,300 liters vegetable oil and various feeding equipment was delivered to the NGO ISRA on 11 December, for the supplementary feeding of children under age-five and pregnant mothers in the IDP camps of Spin Boldak. The UNIMIX and the oil will cover 5,200 children under age- five, and 1,000 pregnant women in the three IDP camps for one month. - Faizabad UNICEF-Faizabad will provide Basic Health Kits to International Medical Corps for their activities in some districts of Takhar. >From Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan - Distribution of the first of two shipments of American Red Cross-funded clothing items and footwear was completed on 12 December at Karoul settlement on Island #9.
