ICRC News 43 / 01-Nov-01
Survey
Organizations must make themselves known - they are part of society and
society is part of them. Like any other organization, the ICRC must keep
telling the public what it is and what it does.
Traditionally, bodies such as the ICRC have relied on "newsletters":
periodic fact sheets. The ICRC News has been our regular link with the
media for many years now. It seeks to present - first and foremost to
journalists - a range of our field activities to help the victims of war.
It originally provided a brief overview of that work, leaving it to the
reader to follow the story up if it seemed interesting. It was also
intended to complement more formal press releases.
We believe the time has come for us to assess whether the ICRC News meets
expectations and what improvements can be made. We would be grateful if
you would spend a few minutes filling in the following questionnaire and
returning it to us by e-mail, fax or post.
Thanks in advance
