SOMALIA-YEMEN: Help to stop migrants dying in Gulf of Aden - Somali 
consul

The Somali consul in the port city of Aden has called on the 
international community to take steps to end the deaths of migrants - 
mainly Somalis fleeing in flimsy smugglers' boats to Yemen - in the Gulf 
of Aden, and find a lasting solution to their plight.

The consul, Hussein Hajji, told IRIN: "We call on international 
organisations, particularly the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), to find 
solutions that can stop the deaths in the Gulf of Aden.
